As a registered cooperative, our system entails collective democratic decision making and equality amongst members. The foundational values of transparency, trust, solidarity and social responsibility align with our goals and result in a more equitable system for all members.
We require members to commit to being active; this entails paying annual membership fees, attending an annual general meeting (AGM) and participating in primary activities and the democratic process when required. Our members elect the board, who handle the day to day running of the cooperative.

Our annual membership fee is $30 which helps cover our administrative costs.
Be aware, membership can only be granted to those who are willing to be active members within the organisation. Active membership involves participation in our primary activities, attending meetings and participation in democratic activities such as the Annual General Meeting (AGM). If you would prefer to be a passive supporter, please visit our supporter page.
If a member fails to be active, membership will be cancelled, as required by the Cooperatives Act (2009).
