The aim of Liberation Cooperative is to construct frameworks to support the progression of abolitionist animal rights and social justice. We are a West Australian not-for-profit (NFP) which facilitates ideas, resource, skill and fund sharing between members.

Idea Sharing

We have not yet found the yellow brick road to animal liberation, by sharing ideas and supporting one another we can be stronger and more effective. Sometimes we may dismiss a great idea when all we need is encouragement, more human power, assistance finessing it, or financing.

Resource Sharing

With a catalogue of activism materials and infrastructure available for community use these can be dispersed between community members via lending library system.
Providing access to these materials for free ensures people with the desire to run actions, events, fundraisers and socials can achieve their goals.

Skill Sharing

Our Community has a wide range of unique knowledge and skills which can benefit one another. Members can indicate their areas of interest and skill which they wish to offer the community.
There is potential for skill share workshops in the future.

Funding

Through fundraising and contributions from supporters we hope to be able to assist projects of both members and external groups who align with our goals.

Education

Our interactions with the public aim to educate on the ethical necessity of animal rights as a framework to end suffering. It is not outside our scope to consider the environmental and health benefits of living vegan. In some instances, we may offer support to other social justice causes.

Producing West Australian specific resources such as information flyers and posters supports effective outreach and education in a broad range of settings.

Community Events

A variety of events offer the wider vegan community a chance to socialise and have fun in a cruelty-free space. They allow non-vegans to experience the diversity of the vegan microcosm in one space. They often support local businesses, artists, academics, charities and activists.

Liberation Cooperative organise large scale vegan and animal rights events and smaller workshops, talks and fun community gatherings.
